First Aid Kit består av søstrene Klara og Johanna Söderberg på henholdsvis 19 og 21 år fra en forstad utenfor Stockholm. Med et akustisk uttrykk og flerstemt sang henter duoen sin musikalske inspirasjon fra folk- og countryhelter som Gram Parsons og Emmylou Harris, som også deres største hitlåt er oppkalt etter. De har utvilsomt stått for et av årets store gjennombrudd.

Bandet fikk fantastiske anmeldelser for sin andreplate "The Lion's Roar", med full pott i blant annet Dagsavisen, Aftenposten og Adresseavisen. Albumet har toppet den norske iTunes-listen og er et av årets mest avspilte på streaming-tjenester. Bandet solgte ut sine konserter i Bergen og Oslo i februar, og overbeviste stort på Øyafestivalen forrige helg. Stein Østbø fra VG bedømte opptreden til terningkast 6 og omtalte dem i anmeldelsen som "To svenske søstre på triumfferd gjennom Norge".

After completing his epic quadrology last year with the simultaneous release of Deconstruction and Ghost, renowned multi-instrumentalist and producer Devin Townsend is ready to start the next chapter in the DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT’s career with their new effort, Epicloud. Due out September 18th in North America and September 24th in Europe, Epicloud boasts 13 light-hearted, hook laden tracks featuring once again, guest vocal appearances by Anneke van Giersbergen. We're pleased to let you know that Devin will team up with the mighty Fear Factory for a co-headline tour aptly dubbed 'The Epic Industrialist Tour' which will take the bands on 40+ gigs in no less than 20 of Europe's finest countries. "The Epic Industrialist Tour" hits Norway November 4th at Betong in Oslo!

On July 30th in Europe and July 31st in North America, the Chicago-based black metal outfit NACHTMYSTIUM is set to release Silencing Machine, their 6th full length album and next celebrated chapter in the band's storied career. Recorded at Engine Studios with the band's own synths/electronics specialist Sanford Parker (YOB, PELICAN) handling producer duties, Silencing Machine is, as front-man/lead guitarist Blake Judd puts it, "A fuckin' black metal record".

Bear with The Darkness for a morality tale for our times

The Darkness announce the details of the first single release from their eagerly awaited third album with an over the top video premiered worldwide on Thursday 28^th June 2012.  ‘Everybody Have A Good Time’ is a raucous, fists in the air anthem which showcases the band at their classic rock sing-a-long best, and gives a flavour of the tasty new album ‘Hot Cakes’.

The group are famous for their opulent outlandish video’s – who could forget the spaceship in ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’, vocalist Justin Hawkins as a chilly Satan in ‘One Way Ticket to Hell and Back’ and or course the heart-warming festive scenes of ‘Christmas Time’ Don’t Let the Bell’s End.   ‘Everybody Have A Good Time’ takes up the baton, and shows The Darkness’ imagination run away with itself and run headlong into the boundaries of good taste, in a fun-filled romp featuring a stripping hairy mammal, live show with added idiots, a machine gun shootout in a story based on the financial crisis which climaxes in a sexy boy meets, er, bear happy ending.   Another four minutes of celluloid genius …http://vevo.ly/LdmglO

Gallows are finally ready to unleash the next phase of their punk rock attack on the world with the highly-anticipated release of their follow-up to 2009’s ‘Grey Britain’ album. Set for release on September 10^th through the band’s own label Venn Records (in partnership with [PIAS] Recordings), the self-titled album was recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by long-term friends Thomas Mitchener and Steve Sears at Broadfields Studio in Watford in May this year.

“We made this record self-titled as it musically defines the band known as Gallows as we exist today,” explain the band. “This is the first of many releases to come from the house of Venn Records, our imprint, hijacked from PIAS those long standing backers of independent rock n roll.”
